Frozen Kids is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production. A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen Kids expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen Kids is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!
Audition, Rehearsal and Performance Location: 720 Crown Point Cross Rd, Winter Garden FL, 34787
Auditions: Wednesday, January 8th from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Students will be required to perform 16 - 32 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show. Students must provide an accompaniment track. Acapella auditions will not be permitted. A link to sign up for auditions will be emailed to you following registration.
Welcome Day/Parent Meeting: Sunday, January 12th
Mandatory Parent Meeting: 3:00 - 4:00 pm followed by a parent mixer from 4:00-5:00pm
Cast Welcome Day: 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm Frozen Kids and Frozen Jr. will participate in a fun filled hour of ice breakers and theatre games from 4-5pm. Frozen Jr. will do a full read through from 5-6:30pm.
Rehearsals: Rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm starting Wednesday, January 15th. All rehearsal dates are as follows:
January 15th, 22nd, and 29th
February 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th
March 5th, 12th, and 26th There will be no rehearsal on March 19th due to Spring Break
April 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd
Tech Week: All tech rehearsals are mandatory!
April 27th - May 4th
Performances: May 3rd and 4th
REFUND POLICY:
Cancelled tuitions paid in full are subject to the following refund deadlines:
Full refunds available through December 7th at 11:59 pm.
Refunds equal to one half of tuition are available from December 8th - December 24th at 11:59 pm.
Tuition is no longer refundable from December 25th through the end of the production.
Cancelled payment plans are subject to the following refund deadlines:
Payment plans may be cancelled, and any completed installments will be refunded through December 7th at 11:59 pm.
Payment plans may be cancelled, and any installments over half of the total tuition fee will be refunded from December 8th - December 24th at 11:59 pm. Payment plans cancelled during this period that have not completed half of their payments, will be required to complete payments until half of the total tuition cost has been paid.
Payment plans can no longer be cancelled from December 25th through the end of the production. Those who wish to withdraw from the production between December 25th and the final performance will be required to complete all installments in their payment plan.
Broadway Babies is designed for Shine Bright students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade for the 2024-25 school year. Students enrolled in Broadway Babies will explore the world of Musical Theatre and learn the basics of performing in a musical. Skills learned will allow them to find immense success when they are old enough to join Shine Bright’s Mainstage productions. Over the course of the summer, students will learn a handful of songs from the Frozen Jr. and join their peers onstage as the “Youth Ensemble”. No audition is required for the Broadway Babies program, however, Broadway Babies students are invited to audition for the roles of Young Elsa and Young Anna.
